Private memorial service for Swayze on Sunday

LONDON - A private memorial service to honour actor Patrick Swayze will be held at Sony Studios in Culver City, California, Sunday.

The late actor’s mother Patsy, brother Donald and wife Lisa Niemi are expected to attend the exclusive get-together, reported aceshowbiz.com.

Fans who attend the service will be asked to make donations to either of the following two organisations, The Patrick Swayze Pancreas Cancer Research Fund or Stand Up to Cancer, in lieu of flowers. Swayze was one of the featured speakers for both organisations.

The “Dirty Dancing” star passed away Sep 14 after losing his battle against stage 4 pancreatic cancer, diagnosed in early 2008.
