Black Eyed Peas star urges fans to donate for Ketsana victims

WASHINGTON - Black Eyed Peas star Apl.De.Ap has asked fans to come forward and help the victims of floods caused by Typhoon Ketsana in the Philippines earlier this month.
The rapper, who is of Filipino ancestry, has expressed grief over the death of 140 people and those who were left homeless.
“My heart is broken to see so many of my Filipino brothers and sisters hurt by this disaster,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying in a statement.
“We must all bond together and move forward to restore the city we hold dear. I’m asking the global community for their support and donations to assist the thousands of Filipinos affected by this tragedy,” he added.
The natural disaster has caused damage of 30 million pounds. (ANI)
