Jackson influenced the Malayalam film industry: Music director

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM - While calling the ‘King of Pop’ Michael Jackson the “greatest musician”, music director M. Jayachandran said here Saturday that the legendary singer had also influenced the Malayalam film industry with his style.
Engineer turned musician Jayachandran who won the state award for the Best Music Director said that Jackson’s style of music is visible in the Malayalam film industry too.
“I don’t thing that there is anything wrong when people bring Jackson’s style to the film industry here. He has been the master of neo-modern dance choreography that has been adopted here,” Jayachandran said.
Jayachandran began his career in the Malayalam film industry as an assistant to veteran music director G. Devarajan.
