‘Jersey Boys,’ StubHub team up for ticket venture
NEW YORK — Can’t score a seat to “Jersey Boys”? You might find better luck on StubHub.
The online ticket marketplace has announced a new deal with the Tony-winning, crowd-pleasing musical.
The pact enables “Jersey Boys” fans to buy and sell tickets to each other. It aims to make StubHub a destination when seats aren’t available at the box office — or when ticket holders want to resell theirs.
According to StubHub, it’s the first such venture for a Broadway production.
It includes “Jersey Boys” productions in New York, Chicago and Las Vegas.
The hit jukebox musical tells the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. It won four Tonys, including best musical, in 2006.
