WASHINGTON - American singer Usher Raymond’s estranged wife stylist Tameka Foster has vowed not to publicise her divorce battle with him, and also not to criticise the R and B star in the media.
Usher, 30, had filed papers in Fulton County Superior Court in Atlanta, Georgia, on June 12, stating that the former couple has been living apart since July last year with “no reasonable hope of reconciliation”.
Foster, 38, is refraining from launching a bitter attack on her husband of almost two years, despite the singer going against her wishes and making news of their marital troubles public last week.
“We were hoping this case would be resolved privately, but since Usher filed it publicly we will have to respond,” Contactmusic quoted Foster’s lawyer Randy Kessler, who is preparing to file an answer to the divorce petition, as telling People magazine.
“She’s trying her best to take the high road and not attack him,” he added to E! News.
Usher is seeking joint custody of the couple’s two kids, Usher Raymond V, 18 months, and Naviyd, six months. (ANI)
