Katie Price to sell house

LONDON - Former model Katie Price is reportedly selling the $4.8-million marital home she shared with her estranged husband Alex Reid.

The 32-year-old star who announced her split from the cage fighter earlier this month wants to get rid of the property and is planning to move to a secret country location.

Since their separation, Alex, 35, has briefly stayed at his parents’ home in Aldershot, Hampshire, but is refusing to move out of the Surrey mansion he shared with the ex-glamour model and her children Harvey, Junior and three-year-old Princess Tiaamii.

Contactmusic.com reports, Katie has instructed her estate agent to sell the home as soon as possible.

“Alex doesn’t look to be going anywhere fast. Kate has contacted Hamptons International and told them to step-up all efforts to sell the marital home. Until then, she will stick it out in separate quarters to Alex. It is all very awkward,” said a source.

“The secret country house she bought last year is not ready to move into yet. Her step-dad’s been working hard on it, her riding partner, Andrew Gould, is using the stables and builders are working around the clock. Once she moves in, Alex cannot follow.”
