Taylor Momsen blames parents for her bad attitude

NEW YORK - ‘Gossip Girl’ star Taylor Momsen has blamed her parents for her constant sulking and miserable behavior.
The 17-year-old opened up about her early career start and how it impacted her behavior.
“Everyone’s like, ‘Wow, why is she upset and why is she so miserable about things? My parents signed me up with Ford (modeling agency) at the age of two. No two-year-old wants to be working, but I had no choice,” the New York Daily News quoted Momsen as telling UsMagazine.com.
As a seven-year-old, she was a fresh-faced cutie in ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ but she said overbearing parents, who forced her into acting, ruined her childhood.
“My whole life, I was in and out of school. I didn’t have friends. I was working constantly and I didn’t have a real life,” she added.
Parade magazine earlier reported that Momsen said even though her parents let her down, other parents shouldn’t encourage their kids to look up to her.
“I didn’t get into this to be a role model for 7-year-olds. If parents don’t like some of the stuff I do, then they shouldn’t let their kids watch me,” she said. (ANI)
