Mac Gruber says bye to SNL

Los Angeles (GaeaTimes.com) - The popular NBC show Saturday Night Live will be aired for 9th season this time. But there will be a change in the show. Will Forte won’t be seen in his popular character of Mac Gruber portrayed by him for the last 8 seasons.

The popularity of Mac Gruber’s popularity led to a film based on the character, which was released on May 21, 2010. Will Forte portrayed the character immaculately in all the eight seasons of the show. Now he has quit the series in the 9th season. He has made it clear he won’t come back for another season on the show. The actor is now going to explore new eras.

In the 36 seasons of the show SNL has acted launch pad for many talents. Similarly Mac Gruber actor Will Forte who got wide reorganization since he joined the show back in 2002. After the release of the movie based on his character released last summer he is all set to cash his success.

The 1970 born American actor got the taste of success in the fortieth year of his life. He has achieved rocking success after he bid farewell to SNL. He has starred in flicks like Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers, and Stranger than Fiction. Apart from box office success he has two Golden Globe nominations for his performances in Stranger than Fiction and The Producers.

For those who don’t know about Mac Gruber, it may be added that Mac Gruber is a bomb squad officer who always fails to deactivate a ticking bomb in each episode. He actually becomes distracted by his personal problems during the task. The whimsical Mac Gruber became famous as the Ohhh Nooo! guy on the series. The character is a parody of 1985-1992 adventure series Mac Gyver.
