LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- It seems America has ultimately found its very own Susan Boyle. Pittsburgh resident Jackie Evancho enthralled the audiences as well as the judges with a soul-stirring musical performance on Tuesday night’s NBC reality series “America’s Got Talent,” reminding everyone of the Scottish singer Susan Boyle who took the stage by storm when she appeared in Britain’s version of the show last year. However, the promising “America’s Got Talent” contestant amazed the judges all the more as she is just a young 10-year-old girl.

When Jackie Evancho in a beautiful pink dress walked on to stage to impress the judges with her musical skills, very few could have imagined that the fourth-grader would leave everyone on the sets of “America’s Got Talent” fascinated with her prowess over singing. The young girl performed a mesmerizing rendition of Puccini’s “O Mia Babbino Caro” which earned her a standing ovation and left the judges extremely thrilled. Apart from the fact that with her captivating singing, Jackie Evancho won widespread accolades from the audiences as well as the judges alike, what actually came as a huge surprise was the confident and polished manner in which she rendered the song which made it sound as the voice of someone thrice her age.

While reacting to the enthralling performance of Jackie Evancho, Sharon Osbourne, who is one of the judges on “America’s Got Talent” said that it was hard for her to believe that someone with such petite frame can have such a matured voice. Meanwhile, judge Piers Morgan described the youngster’s performance as the most astonishing one he had ever witnessed on “America’s Got Talent.”
