NEW DELHI - Top-notch designers, a fashion magazine and a multi-designer store are coming together to celebrate seven decades of fashion in grand style in Mumbai Thursday.

Fashion bible Vogue India and multi-label designer store Ensemble have brought together 10 designers with their muses - women of all ages who will be wearing the works of the respective designers to prove that fashion and beauty go hand-in-hand.

“We have an extensive client base - most of them women who shop with us and are predominantly in the age group of 20 to 80. Therefore, we collaborated with Vogue to celebrate these fashion lovers from different decades,” Tina Tahiliani Parikh, executive director of Ensemble, told IANS.

The event will take place Thursday at Ensemble’s flagship store at Lion’s Gate in Mumbai and designers who will be paying homage to feminine beauty of all ages are industry stalwarts like Tarun Tahiliani, Varun Bahl, Kotwara by Meera and Muzaffar Ali, Anamika Khanna, Gaurav Gupta, James Ferreira, Varun Sardana, Pero, Sanchita and Savio Jon.

Among the muses representing each of the designers are hairstylist Audhuna Akhtar, Bollywood actress Ira Dubey and supermodels Nina Manuel and Diana Penty, among others.
