MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Veteran actor Dharmendra is not the one to be seen in media events or TV shows and he does not sign too many films these days. On the contrary the original muscle man of Bollywood is extremely choosy about doing films and also making public appearances nowadays. Therefore the fans of the actor and viewers of the popular TV reality show Indian Idol were quite amazed to see him on the sets of Indian Idol 5. The show is in its 5th season now and it the yesteryear actors and actresses often are roped in it as celebrity judges and guests from time to time. Since he was there, the songs of his hit movies were played throughout the show which the viewers enjoyed immensely.

Dharmendra as expected was asked a lot of questions after the show about his films as well as personal life. However, he appeared tired and responded to only a few of the queries thrown at him. He said that the boys and girls who get selected to perform in the reality show should consider themselves lucky to get such a platform which their seniors could not even dream about. He also talked about the milestone movie Sholay which was released 35 years back. He played an important role in the film.

The actor said that he considers himself lucky to be part of such an iconic film that has become sort of a legend in the country. Dharmendra also said on the sets of the reality show that he loves music though he is not a singer.
