SNOOP DOGG made a triumphant return to the British live scene on Friday (25Jun10) with a hot show at the Glastonbury festival.

The rapper’s four-year visa ban was overturned earlier this year (10), and the Somerset, England festival was announced as his grand return.

Snoop was joined onstage by Tinie Tempah and Blur and Gorillaz star Damon Albarn and British rapper Dizzee Rascal watched from the wings.

Tempah performed a version of U.K. number one single Pass Out with Snoop, who took a moment to honour slain hip-hop hero Tupac Shakur by playing a medley of his songs.

Temperatures soared as Snoop hit the stage and he likened the vibe to a California day, adding, “I’m having so much fun. I had to smoke a bit of that weed, have something to drink.”

The marijuana fan ended his hits set by urging festivalgoers to smoke weed every day.

Snoop Dogg, real name Calvin Broadus, was previously denied entry into the U.K. after he was arrested following a fracas at London’s Heathrow Airport in 2006.
