Milwaukee was also being considered for organizing the auditions during the last season of the musical reality show but finally it lost to Chicago where the auditions were ultimately held. It was from Chicago that the Lee Dewyze was selected who later went on to win the show while Crystal Bowersox, the second position holder in the ninth season had also auditioned in Chicago. The news that Fox had decided to hold one of the auditions on Milwaukee has also been validated by host Ryan Seacrest who revealed the names of the cities that have been selected to hold the auditions through a social networking site.
Along with Milwaukee, the other cities where the auditions would be held include Austin, East Rutherford, Nashville and San Francisco. Meanwhile, the upcoming edition of “American Idol” has also managed to create quite a buzz as the makers of the show have decided to lower the age limit for the participants to 15. Cecile Frot-Coutaz, the executive producer of the musical reality show has added that the decision to reduce the age limit was taken to tap into a wider range of talent pool.
