SAN FRANCISCO (GaeaTimes.com)- One of the most outstanding performances in this season’s auditions at the ‘America’s Got Talent’ stage was the group ‘Fighting Gravity‘ that left the audience and the judges awe-struck. Before the performance the entire auditorium was darkened and only five people with glowing suits were visible on stage. They gave a dance performance that involved floating in the air and ‘Matrix’ like moves that felt straight out of a sci-fi movie. They performed with glowing tennis balls that seemed to be threaded together along with the front three dancers.

The perfectly coordinated dance performance appeared more extraordinary for the unusual floating appearance. After the lights came back on, the audience got to see the rest of the performers who performed in the dark. There were in total 25 people of Fighting Gravity on the ‘America’s Got Talent’ stage. After being asked by the judges the performers revealed that they were engineering and business major students who wanted to do something different. The performers who were in the dark actually did some heavy lifting to make the illuminated performers appear to be floating.

Sharon Osbourne called the performance ‘current’ and ‘edgy’. Howie Mandel expressed his amazement and called it ‘unique’ and ‘exciting’. The usually critical and analytical Piers Morgan was also quite appreciative and wonder-struck by the simple science behind the fantastic performance of ‘Fighting Gravity‘. Some of the other highlights of the evening included the one by Prince Poppycock. His note-perfect performance of ‘Figaro’ in the get up of a drag-queen amazed the audience and judges alike.
