NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com)-Crystal Bowersox performed “Up To The Mountain” on Tuesday night of American Idol which left the judges all in praises for her at the end of her performance. Reportedly, American Idol has witnessed “Up To The Mountain” being performed many a times on the stage of American Idol. Crystal Bowersox was happy with her performance of Tuesday and said that she has plans to release “Up To The Mountain” as a single if she wins this competition. Crystal Bowersox performed “Up To The Mountain” as she sat with her guitar and lingered on the tune for quite some time before she actually started singing.
Ellen DeGeneres and Randy Jackson called Crystal Bowersox’s performance to be the best performance of Tuesday. Randy Jackson added that every time he listens to her song it makes him feel very proud. Simon Cowell who is said to be leaving American Idol in a few days for his new talent show on Fox Channel called her performing of “Up To The Mountain” as one of the best performances in the show. Simon Cowell said that this is the last comment on American Idol as he will be signing off from the show to attend the new talent show called “The X Factor”.
“Up To The Mountain” is a song by Patty Griffin and was last performed on the American Idol stage in the year of 2007 by Kelly Preston along with Jeff Beck at the charity effort called “Idol Gives Back”. “Up To The Mountain” also formed a part of “I Dreamed A Dream” which marked the debut of Susan Boyle.
