Slipknot Unmasked For Paul Gray Conference Tribute

The members of SLIPKNOT removed their famous masks for a 10-minute video press conference tribute to late bass player PAUL GRAY on Tuesday (25May10).

The bassist’s bandmates joined Gray’s siblings and his pregnant wife Brenna for the emotional roundtable, which aired on uStream.tv moments ago.

Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor started the hastily-arranged conference by stating, “The only way I can sum up Paul Gray is love.”

Other bandmates described Gray as the “essence of Slipknot,” “a really great friend and a great person”.

The late rocker’s brothers also paid tribute to the bass player, who was found dead in a suburban Des Moines, Iowa hotel room on Monday (24May10), and the star’s pregnant wife concluded the press conference.

She said her husband was “an amazing person and I just want people to remember him for just that, and his daughter will remember him for the way he was.”

Brenna Gray thanked fans for their support.

Police are still investigating Gray’s death but suspect no foul play. An autopsy has failed to determine the cause of death. Officials are now awaiting the results of toxicology tests.
