LOS ANGELES - Actress Sarah Jessica Parker was so concerned about the plot details of “Sex and the City 2″ leaking online that she reportedly shot fake scenes and also banned cast and crew from discussing the storyline.
The actress, who will be seen as writer Carrie Bradshaw in the franchise, is also the executive producer of the film. According to Britain’s Mail on Sunday, Parker, 45, was so keen to avoid a leak, she allegedly told stars including Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon that anyone who publicly discussed the plot would face a fine.
The plot is such a closely guarded secret that movie bosses even filmed fake scenes involving Kim Cattrall to throw gossips off the real story.
“Also, every page of every script was watermarked with the name of the actor or crew member to whom it belonged, so if pages were leaked, the mole could be identified,” a source told Mail.
The movie will hit theatres around the world later this month.
