March 5 2010 (Sampurn Wire): He kept a low profile for a while, but it seems like Ramarajan is all set to be in the limelight again, with his new movie, ‘Medhai’. In fact, he looks more confident than he has ever done before, maybe because it is a city-based story, unlike his previous films, and it also has a message for the youth.

The story of the film revolves around a schoolteacher, struggling to make life better for his students. First-time director, N.T.G. Saravanan mentions that he has gained a lot from working with filmmakers like Hari, and has learned the art of weaving a tight plot with ample commercial ingredients. Produced under the Kalaimagal Koodam banner, the film also stars Vadivelu, adding to the comedy quotient.
