Nandini switches to the thriller genre

March 5, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Her directorial debut, ‘Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru’, a comedy, fetched her rave reviews, but Nandini is not someone to rest on her laurels for too long. She has already jumped headlong into an edge-of-the-seat thriller, yet to be titled, the official confirmation of which will be made next week.
Throwing some light on the plot of the film, Nandini says, “When a series of murders makes a village a nightmare to live in, it is up to the protagonist to unravel the mystery behind the murders. The screenplay is laced with enough twists and turns to keep the audience engaged.” She also mentioned that the movie will be along the lines of the yesteryear classic thriller, ‘Adhey Kangal’.
Nandini is a graduate from the Adyar Film Institute, and a gold medal recipient. She assisted the renowned director, Priya, and then made her debut with ‘Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru’, starring Ajmal and Rupa.
