West Memphis Three Case Has Johnny Depp’s Support

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Johnny Depp, one of the hottest and most sought after actors of Hollywood has come forward to support the case of the West Memphis Three accused. The case is regarding three accused teenagers who allegedly murdered three kids in a very loathsome way many years back. In fact, the incident dates back to 1994. CBS will host an episode of ‘48 Hours Mystery’ in which the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor will appear and voice his opinion on the case. As a matter of fact, he has been saying for some time that the accused teenagers are not the real culprits.

The three teenagers Jessie Misskelley, Damien Echols and Jason Baldwin are in prison. While two of them are serving life terms, Damien Echols has been sentenced to death by the jury. Apart from Johnny Depp, they have received support from Eddie Vedder and Winona Ryder as well. The star said in an interview that he also grew up in a small town and can feel that at times the jury gets influenced by the appearance and mindset of the accused and stress less on facts and evidences. His involvement in the West Memphis Three case is sure to leave an impact on media and law.

West Memphis Three is a case that has drawn the focus of the media since a long time. Recently, the lawyers representing the two accused tried to convince the court to undertake a fresh inquiry. However, the judge turned down the offer, although the new DNA evidence was accepted.

I personally think that Depp should stick to his day job! I’m quite sure that the three that are in jail are the murderers.
