Artie Lange Suicide Attempt Stabbing Himself Nine Times

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com) — Artie Lange, the popular comedian has been rushed to the hospital after stabbing himself nine times in an allegedly suicide attempt.

Lange 42, was taken to a New Jersey hospital, a source confirmed. No other information has been revealed so far.

According to a law-enforcement source, Lange’s mother called 911 after entering his Hoboken apartment and finding the blood-stained comedian Saturday morning. She discovered her son sustaining six “hesitation wounds” and three deep plunges.

Despite heavy bleeding from the incident, surgeons managed to save Lange’s life.

Artie Lange is an American actor, comedian and radio personality. Lange is most notable for replacing Jackie Martling on the controversial radio program, “The Howard Stern Show”.

On his Sirius Satellite Radio show Monday, Howard Stern showered praise for his buddy. While talking about Lange’s past battles with addiction, Stern says “We all have our demons”.

Artie has given this show tremendous moments of great comedy. He’s a tremendous contributor. He is a good man. Don’t forget how great he is.
