Master P And Wahlberg Team Up To Feed The Homeless

Rap mogul MASTER P is teaming up with actor MARK WAHLBERG to serve up Thanksgiving Day meals to homeless families in Los Angeles.

The unlikely duo is volunteering with charitable organisation Reachback L.A. and website OneMillionGifts.org to provide hot dinners for those living in Watts, an area renowned for its high levels of crime and gang violence, on Wednesday afternoon (25Nov09).

Master P tells AllHipHop.com, “This is our third year in this programme. It’s great for the community. We are able to give the homeless a hot Thanksgiving meal and feed families in need and that are struggling through these tough economic times.”

Wahlberg adds, “Together we can change the world. Today we will experience what Thanksgiving is really all about, being thankful for what we have and sharing it with others in need.”

Americans will celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday (26Nov09).
