Solange Makes Dj Debut

R&B star SOLANGE KNOWLES swapped the stage for the DJ booth on Saturday night (31Oct09) when she made her debut as a celebrity spinner.
The I Decided hitmaker surprised partygoers in New York City on Halloween as she took control of the music to show off her DJ skills.
And she credits her tutor, rapper Q-Tip, with helping her to master the artform.
She writes on her Twitter.com page, “Turns out my ‘dj’ debut was a success. Was sooooooo (sic) nervous about mixing, but found my groove and had a blast doing so!
“And big ups to by DJ coach QtipTheAbstract!!”
