Man charged in Lohan, Patridge burglaries

LOS ANGELES — Prosecutors in Los Angeles have charged a man with burglarizing the homes of Lindsay Lohan and Audrina Patridge.

Nicholas Prugo faces two charges of residential burglary and will be arraigned Nov. 11.

He is accused of stealing $170,000 in designer jewelry and clothes from Lohan and Patridge, who appears on MTV’s “The Hills.” Both actress’ homes were broken into earlier this year.

The 18-year-old was arrested in September and remains free on bail.

Prosecutors say more than $43,000 in clothes and jewelry were taken from Patridge’s home. Lohan’s losses were estimated at $128,000.

Lohan’s film credits include “Mean Girls” and “The Parent Trap.” She remains on probation for a 2007 drunken driving conviction.
