NEW YORK - Madonna’s former trainer Tracy Anderson is being taken to court for allegedly swindling a million dollars.
The fitness guru’s former boyfriend Glynn Barber claims the trainer, who was recently fired by the Queen of Pop, drove him into bankruptcy after persuading him to invest in her company.
“She used her female charms to manipulate me to invest 1 million dollars in her company,” the New York Post quoted Barber as saying.
“I was an easy target. She told me she was a Power Ranger. She told me she was in the musical ‘Cats’ for four years. She said her ex-husband, Eric, played for the Knicks . . . None of this turned out to be true,” he added.
Barber, an engineer and machinist, further revealed: “I made Madonna’s fitness equipment for 13,000 dollars and Tracy sold it to her for 26,000. She made a fortune from using Madonna’s name.”
Anderson, on the other hand, has refuted the claims in court papers. (ANI)
