Toni Collette bags Top Actress Emmy

LONDON - Toni Collette took home an Emmy after winning the Lead Actress in a Comedy Series category.
The Aussie actress was credited for her performance as Tara Gregson in Showtime’s original series ‘United States of Tara’.
Alec Baldwin bagged the Leading Actor trophy for his role in the comedy ‘30 Rock’, reports the BBC.
British teleplay ‘Little Dorrit’ won several prizes, including best mini-series, art direction, costumes and cinematography.
Irish actor Brendan Gleeson was handed an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Mini-Series or Movie for his performance as Winston Churchill in ‘Into The Storm’.
Kristin Chenoweth won the Best Supporting Comedy Actress while Jon Cryer won the male category for ‘Two and a Half Men’.
