2010 Tony Awards set for June 13 at Radio City

NEW YORK — Broadway’s fall shows haven’t even arrived yet but the date for the 2010 Tony Awards has been set — Sunday June 13 — at Radio City Music Hall.

Winners of awards honoring the best of the 2009-2010 Broadway season will be announced during a live, three-hour telecast by CBS, 8:00 p.m.-11 p.m. EDT.

The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing, which present the show, say the cutoff for nomination eligibility will be April 29, 2010. No word yet on what date the nominations will be announced.
