Jay-z Working On ‘experimental’ Album
By WENNTuesday, September 8, 2009
JAY-Z has already started work on his follow up to THE BLUEPRINT 3 - before his latest album is even released.
The rap superstar’s 11th solo studio disc hits U.S. record stores on Tuesday (08Sep09), four days before its original release date of 11 September (09).
The Big Pimpin’ hitmaker reveals he’s started putting together tracks for his next CD, but he’s not expecting this album to be a chart hit because it’s full of “experimental” songs.
He tells MTV.com, “My next album, which I’m working on now, is gonna be the album that (is) not gonna be a number one album. That’s where I’m at right now. I wanna make the most experimental album I ever made.”
Jay-Z brought forward the release of The Blueprint 3 after the whole project leaked online late last month (Aug09).
