LOS ANGELES — Michael Jackson’s father has arrived at the BET Awards.

Show publicist Bobbi Marcus says Joe Jackson will make an onstage appearance.

Sunday’s 2009 BET Awards have been revamped to pay tribute to Michael Jackson, who died on Thursday and influenced many of the entertainers scheduled to attend.

Beyonce performance on BET awards show.
I was disheartened at the outfit Beyonce wore singing a holy song this eveing; Very inappropriate attire to wear singing such a religious song. I would never have thought she would be disrespedtful in that way. Thatsee thru outfit was disgusting in singing Ave Maria.
I loved Beyonce, This has got me wondering if I have had her in the wrong pure light all along.
There is a limit in entertaining of what should be worn and when.
I’m so sorry she or her advisors chose for her to wear such a disrespectful dress. Ultimately it was her final choice
