Top 5 Thriller Movies in Britain published; Silence of the lambs sit atop

WASHINGTON - Anthony Hopkins movie The Silence Of The Lambs is Britain’s favourite thriller, says a new poll. The film, which was released in 1991, gathered much appreciation and received five Academy Awards. And now, it seems Britons just can’t get enough of it. The movie topped a shortlist of ten pictures with more than a quarter of the total votes, reports Contactmusic.
Following Lambs was Brad Pitt’s 1995 crime/horror Seven with 20 per cent.
Steven King’s The Shining came ranked third in the list with 11 per cent.
The survey was carried out by Yahoo Movies.
The top five was rounded out by L.A. Confidential and Basic Instinct.
