Rathri to hit screen on July 3

Directed by Bhanukiran and produced by R Kirankumar on the banner of Annapurna Cine Creations with Sayaji Shinde and Preeti Mehra in the lead roles, Sameer, Jeeva, Srinivasa Reddy and Waheeda in the other roles is getting ready to hit the screen with the assistance of Chalana Chitra Parirakshana Samiti. The Samiti secretary Nattikumar revealed this information to the media at the Producers’ Council’s auditorium recently. He says, ‘We are making efforts to release the film on July 3. So far, the samiti had received 25 applications and we are planning to release one film every week.’ Director Bhanukiran says, ‘We shot the film for about 52 days by struggling hard in forest locations, during nights. The film came out as a quality suspense thriller. Each frame would impress the audiences.’ Producer Kirankumar says, ‘Though we produced the film, we have no idea on how to market our film. In this backdrop, we approached the samiti and it extended cooperation and made arrangements to release the film with 60 prints.’ Music director Pramodkumar says, ‘There are three songs in the flick and re-recording would be the life of the movie.’ - SAMPURN
