‘Yeh Saali Zindagi’ Gets Average Opening

MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Last Friday, the much-awaited movie of director Sudhir Mishra named ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi’ released all over India. The movie has an impressive cast comprising of actors like Irrfan Khan, Chitrangada Singh with two newcomers Aditi Rao and Arunoday Singh. The last two are a few films old in Bollywood. The film got a lot of hype even before its release owing to issues like its title and a number of intimate scenes in it. However, the box office prospects of the film seem to be weak and in major cities, it opened to average collections. Despite the average opening, the critics have been raving about the sterling performances of actors Chitrangada Singh and Irrfan Khan.

In ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi‘ Chitrangada Singh plays the role of a woman who drives the 2 male characters. The film may pick up well in the coming week from word of mouth publicity, the movie veterans are hoping. At least it is faring much better than the other releases of the week namely ‘Utt Patang’ and re-release of yesteryear flick ‘Hum Dono.’ So far, ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi’ has managed to garner INR 1.20 crore at the box office.

No matter how the film ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi’ fares in the next days, there is no denying that Chitrangada Singh has given one of her best performances in it. The talented actress who is extremely choosy about her roles has once again wooed the viewers and critics with her performance in the film. Irrfan Khan has also given a commendable performance in the movie.
