LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Lifetime’s television flick, “Marry Me”, which came in two parts, premiering in December 12, concluded yesterday. All those who watched the flick, could only give good reviews about it. The light hearted romantic comedy had nothing serious about it. But it portrayed the typical confusions that bugs every spinster, before they tie the knot. Rae Ann Carter, portrayed by Lucy Liu, was yet another girl, who was stuck with a confusion, when three eligible bachelors proposed her for marriage.

The character played by Lucy Liu in “Marry Me”, was just like any other ordinary girl. In an interview, she said that Rae Ann Carter is a real person, who makes mistakes and is filled with flaws. On one hand, she tries to balance everything in life, while on the other hand, she is also overwhelmed with certain areas in her life. She also lacks confidence about her relationship matters and decisions regarding her marriage. This, according to her is a common trait that is seen in most young girls. Like any other girl, even Rae Ann Carter was vulnerable to certain emotional hazards. She said that she loved portraying such a real character in the movie. It was great fun for her to be a part of the film as it involved wearing some stylish clothes, with three handsome men around. She also said that all through out the shoot, it was just a blast for her. She lost about eight pounds, running around the sets all the time.

The main question raised by “Marry Me” was, whom Lucy Liu chooses amongst the three men. The film was quite unpredictable with several twists and turns that portrays the general confusion of young girls with conviction. It was directed by James Hayman and produced by Sony Pictures Television for Lifetime.
