Lady Gaga named Billboard’s Artist of the Year

LONDON - Pop icon Lady Gaga has been named Artist of the Year by Billboard magazine editors.

In the end-of-year honours, the official U.S. chart publication has hailed the ‘Poker Face’ singer after she dominated both the Billboard 200 albums and Hot 100 singles countdowns with her tracks.

The tracks are from her albums ‘The Fame’ and ‘The Fame Monster,’ reports the Daily Star.

Gaga left behind Taylor Swift to the Artist of the Year title, preventing the ‘Love Story’ singer from claiming the honour for the second year in a row. (ANI)
