Yana Gupta Sued

MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- It looks like India’s ‘No Panty Girl’, Yana Gupta has landed in quite a soup for her sans underwear stint at the children’s charity event earlier this month. Reports indicate that Sushila Nirali, the organizer of the event, has been sued by a social activist in Lucknow, Rizwan Ahmed. The social activist has sued on the grounds of obscenity under section 292/ 293 and 294 of Indian Penal Code in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lucknow.

Rizwan Ahmed spoke to the media about the complaint filed by him against the organizer, the photographer and Yana Gupta and said that he was shocked that a celeb like Yana Gupta could stoop so low for publicity. He also expressed his shock at the photographs of the model published in the papers. He said that what offended him most was the fact that Yana Gupta talked on her social networking page about being known as the ‘no panty girl’. Rizwan Ahmed also raised the question that if indeed Yana Gupta did not want her photos taken at the event, she should have asked the photographers not to click her and also sued the photographers after the photos emerged.

Rizwan Ahmed has also pointed out that Yana Gupta’s attire was not suited for a children’s charity event and was made for a function or a private party. Yana Gupta became the center of media attention in recent weeks after she was photographed sans underwear at a prestigious event that also had other celebs like Isha Kopikkar present. The model explained later that she chose not to wear underwear as she was rehearsing for a dance show and felt uncomfortable when the underwear got stuck in her bottom.
