LONDON - Lily Allen, who was hospitalised for septicaemia just days after losing her second baby, was responding well to the treatment.

Allen was recovering well in the hospital after suffering from septicaemia, the singer’s spokesman Murray Chalmers said on Sunday.

“She is responding well to treatment and her condition continues to improve. Lily thanks everyone for their messages of support and again asks that she and partner Sam Cooper be left alone while she recovers,” the Daily Express quoted Chalmers as saying.

The 25-year-old thanked fans on Twitter on Friday for their messages of support but revealed that she was still ‘very sick’.

Hours later she was taken to hospital with the potentially fatal blood poisoning condition. (ANI)
