Vipul Shah On “Action Replayy”

MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Vipul Shah became candid about his upcoming film “Action Replayy” which is scheduled to release this week on Diwali. “Action Replayy” is a romantic comedy set in the 1970’s. The promos of the film show Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Akshay Kumar in the retro style of that era. Vipul Shah revealed that the movie was on his mind for a long time and the plot is actually based on one of his plays. He said that previously he lacked both the budget and the technology for the film. The film is being seen as a Diwali entertainer and was planned in a way that it could be released on Diwali.

Vipul Shah disclosed that the star cast of “Action Replayy” is just perfect and he had no one else in mind apart from Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Akshay Kumar. He gave some solid reasons for his choices. He said Akshay Kumar is capable of carrying any look or style that he had in mind. After having made four successful films with the actor, he feels that it was just a natural extension to star him in “Action Replayy”. As for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, he feels that she is a simple girl with a beautiful traditional look and was the only person suitable for the role.

While Vipul Shah is all optimistic about his upcoming film, the star cast of the film is busy in its promotions. Vipul Shah along with “Action Replayy” team was on KBC 4, for the promotions. However, people missed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as she was not present on the show with rumors claiming that the team was playing for Salman Khan’s charity and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was not willing to be a part of it.
