Great Wolf Lodge’s CEO Featured In “Undercover Boss”

LOS ANGELES, (GaeaTimes.com)- The Episode 2 Season 2 of CBS Chanel’s “Undercover Boss” made a history on Saturday night, as for the first time in the history of the show, it featured a female. She was none other than the CEO of Great Wolf Lodge, Kimberly K. Schaefer, who is better known as Kim Schaefer.

Kim Schaefer disguised herself as a documentary film maker, who was making a documentary on “A Home maker Returning To Work”. This was an exciting experience for the CEO, as she is technically unaware of whatever is happening at the lower hierarchy and who are the efficient people at that level. She said, that although she had started her career about fourteen years back, as a front line restaurant manager in of one of its hotels, a lot of things have changed since then, which she is not aware of. This show, gave her an opportunity to know her employees in the Great Wolf Lodge Better. She said that it took a lot of hard work and sincere efforts to be the CEO of a hotel. However, it takes a lot more to execute its responsibilities. And this one just an attempt to make things better at the lower level.

Kim Schaefer turned out to be a very patient CEO of Great Wolf Lodge, as she heard about the problems of all her employees. A tragic story of one of her employees, named Deanna Lyons, even made her cry, when she heard about the story of her daughter’s demise. Kim Schaefer, is herself a family woman, and balances both her duties very efficiently. This episode was an ode to all those women who merge the differences between gender and profession.
