LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Chris McCann, the President and the CEO of the famous flowers and gifts retailer and distributor “1-800-Flowers” went undercover for the final episode of the CBS’ “Undercover Boss” this season. The episode not only revealed facts about the company but also showed the present condition and how the boss faces the reality of the different branches of the company at New Jersey, Ohio, Boston and Massachusetts.

His week-long tour as an employee of the company at different stores brings in front of Chris McCann some of the harsh reality of his company. In New Jersey while Chris McCann helps Pauline to arrange flowers, he learns thatdesigners are unhappy about the fact that the boss of the “1-800-Flowers” does not entertain any new idea. Pauline complains how she and her colleagues are frustrated about the fact that they have to work with the same old things in “1-800-Flowers“. This was the first major shock that the boss receives during his visit.

In Ohio, he works in the Fanny May chocolate Factory of the company, and is told by one of the colleagues, Nicole that the goals set by the boss of the company are too high to meet. While during his visit to Boston outlet his identity is almost revealed, his visit to Massachusetts outlet shows the horrible state of the store which has practically nothing to do. The show which marked the culmination of this season of “Undercover Boss” was made interesting with the tracing of the journey of the “1-800-Flowers” boss Chris McCann.
