Sade To Sing For Daughter On The Road Next Summer

Sultry soul singer SADE has launched plans to tour for the first time since 2001 - and this time her daughter will be able to see mum live.

The Smooth Operator singer last hit the road when Ila was four - and, although the little girl was with her mother on tour, she wasn’t allowed to stay up past her bedtime for the shows.

But when Sade hits the stage next summer (11) to belatedly promote her 2010 hit album Soldier of Love, Ila, now 14, will be in the wings.

Sade tells USA Today, “She went on the road with me the last time I toured, but she always went to bed before I went on stage.”
