Top Chef Winner is Kevin Sbraga

Los Angeles (GaeaTimes.com) - The winner of the game show “Top Chef” was revealed in a never before way. The cooking reality game show is aired on the cable television network Bravo. The winner of this season’s competition was revealed hours before the telecast of the final episode.
The Bravo.com posted a video on internet which hints the name of the winner. The video which is now promoted as a first look to next week’s reunion shows Andy Cohen congratulating the winner of Top Chef. The winner is revealed as Kevin.
The winner was announced in an unexpected way by the host Padma Lakshami who bypassed the usual convention of evicting the first runner up before the winner. Instead, she announced the winner among the finalists making the thrill end in a moment.
The show is judged by a panel of professional chefs and aces from the food and wine industry. In each of the episode one or more contestants are evicted. On the final show the three finalists Ed Cotton, Angelo Sosa and Sbraga prepared four course dinners including a vegetable course, a fish course, a meat course and a dessert.
The 31 year old New Jersey native was totally surprised when the hostess declared him the winner. The winner explained himself in these words: “This is a life-changer,” he said,
It’s absolutely huge that I’m the first African-American Top Chef. My dad, my sister, my friends, the guys at the barber shop, they’re going to eat it up. They’re going to love it. This is it. I’m the Top Chef.
While the winner was in complete rejoice head judge Tom Colicchio explained why he was selected as the winner. According to him,
The Top Chef is the one who took the most risks, but also cooked the best meal,
The winner bags a title and cash prize of $ 125,000 and a showcase at Aspen’s Annual Food and Wine Classic.
