Miss Universe 2010 Winner

Las Vegas (GaeaTimes.com) - The International Beauty Pageant is all set to hit the floors tonight. The competition will take place in USA. The city of night life and casinos Las Vegas will host it. The beauties of 83 nations will battle to win the crown of the prettiest woman in the entire universe.

The Mandalay Bay resorts and Casino in Las Vegas will be the venue for the contest. The 43 storey seven star hotel with everything luxury is the venue. The 35-39 floors are all booked by Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas. Here the stars and celebrities are expected to stay.

The people are busy guessing the winner. Others have their favorites and they have their fingers crossed for them. The official Miss Universe site has showed the ratings of top 20 favorite contestants. Miss Philippines, Miss Bolivia and the nation which most number of beauty queens in its list Venezuela has topped the list.

The current ratings show Miss Philippines Venus Raj on top with maximum 3.56 points. Second place goes to Miss Bolivia Claudia Arce Lemaitre with 3.05 points. The third position is occupied by Miss Venezuela Marelisa Gibson.

The rating shows Miss Russia Irina Antonenko as a strong favorite too. Miss France Mallika Menard has made a comeback with raised ratings. The other favorites among the top 20 are Miss Ireland who raised a wardrobe controversy. Miss Mexico is also liked by the viewers.

The competitors as well as the jury are equally impressive too. The Jury includes actor William Baldwin, model Niki Taylor, Olympic Gold medal winner skater Evan Lysacek and illusionist Cris Angel.

The show will be telecast live on at 9 PM eastern time. The duration of the main show is two hours. It will be telecast in 190 nations. More than 600 million people are expected to view it. He channels are ET and NBC.
