Daughtry performs Today

New York (GaeaTimes.com) - Former American Idol has performed today live in New York. The band formed by Daughtry is on Toyota Summer Concert Series. They performed at Plaza in Rockefeller Center. The Band’s sophomore studio album Leave This Town has debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200.

The same song is nominated for a Grammy Award. The show was to promote the album. The show was called Today. It has rocking performances by Daughtry like ‘Feels Like Tonight “September” and “Leave This Town”

His latest song September has become a craze.

It’s something that so many people can relate to whether they come from a small town or not.

Chris Daughtry said of the song ‘September.’,

I think it’s the overall feeling of growing up and moving on.” He quoted about the song.

As for the family his wife is expecting twins.

I don’t know if we’re ready, but we don’t have a choice.

Daughtry said with a laugh.

We’re very excited. It’s a very exciting time now. We’re a little nervous, but it’s gonna be awesome.

Chris Daughtry was chosen the American Idol finalist in 1996. After that he formed his own band Daughtry. He made waves with his first song in September. The Band is on a summer tour and they have performed in free at JKF airport at Jet Blue terminal.

The performance of Daughtry at the airport was actually a part of JetBlue’s “Live from T5 concert series that actually started last year. Last year the series comprised of relatively unknown artists. So they have roped in Daughtry to makeover the image of Airlines. The Airlines is making a positive to thrive in competition. The Airlines have earned a bad name since one of the attendants on flight called Steven Slater behaved rudely with a passenger. Then he grabbed a bottle of beer and left the flight via emergency exit.
