Dreamworks announces $150M stock buyback program
GLENDALE, Calif. — Dreamworks Animation SKG Inc. said Tuesday its board approved a new $150 million share repurchase program, a move that will boost per-share earnings and expand the percentage size of shareholders’ stakes.
Dreamworks said it has spent $111 million since January buying back about 3.1 million shares.
The movie studio currently has about 87.3 million shares outstanding.
