Michael Jackson Death Anniversary Today

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Michael Jackson hailed as the King of Pop continues to be as enigmatic and mysterious after his death as he was in his life. Theories about his death still continue to pop up every now and then and the popularity of his evergreen songs never seems to decline. Today marks the first death anniversary of the iconic pop singer and the fans in various parts of the world are paying their tributes to him. A number of programs and events would be held in his honor in many places and media entities would also pay homage to this musical legend.

Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Washington D.C has put a wax replica of the star on display on the day as well. The marketing director of the museum, Drew Patton said that it was meant for the million fans of the singer. The Madame Tussauds Museum spokesperson also revealed that Michael Jackson is one of the most beloved figures in the museum and his popularity has not diminished at all after his unexpected demise last year. In the museum the wax replica of the singer is kept in the same room where the statues of pop diva Madonna and singer Elton John are kept.

Meanwhile, a Michael Jackson Tribute Exhibit has been arranged by the museum and it will carry on till July 7. As everyone knows the singer was not in good shape in the days before he died and a plan of a grand comeback was in his mind as well. However, the musical icon continues to live on in the hearts of his fans.
