World Music Day In Bangladesh

DHAKA (GaeaTimes.com)- World Music Day or “Fete de la Musique” is being celebrated all over Bangladesh with great pomp and show. Reportedly, World Music Day shall have an all day long music events and concerts which will be held in Dhaka and Chittagong with an aim to spread the fervor of music among one and all.
Alliance Francaise de Dhaka in association with Alliance Francaise de Chittagong are organizing these free music events in the state which kicks off today and shall continue for three days. To participate in the World Music Day event musicians from over 120 countries have flocked together at the capital city. World Music Day seems to be the one and only event which has no bar and no restrictions upon any particular kind of music. The organizers told the media that they believe that music in it’s purest form is always something that one can’t express in words. All previous events of World Music Day has been tremendously successful in Dhaka and this year too the organizers are looking forward to make the very best from the music concerts. Channel I happens to be the media partner for the World Music Day event which shall broadcast a special one hour music festival on June 25.
Alliance Francaise de Dhaka shall commence the World Music Day concert from 3 pm where teachers and students from the School of Music along with popular music bands of Dhaka shall grace the stage with their performance. World Music Day concert shall also witness special performances from Bangladeshi and French troops like Les Caribous Volants, Nojibul and Shiblo and Alexandre Jurain.
