LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com) — The 3D images of Marilyn Monroe was featured in Playboy Magazine around half of century back. It was an unique effort on part of Hugh Hefner, who wanted to please the viewers with some extra ordinary pictures of the Hollywood diva.

The success of the Playboy magazine can be attributed to these pictures of Marilyn Monroe. Although Hugh Hefner managed to convince the sensational actress for posing, his plan failed miserably, before shaping up. Because inclusion of 3D images in every edition of the magazine was a bit expensive that time.

However, Marilyn Monroe did pose for centerfold of the Playboy Magazine in 1953 and captivated all with her impeccable beauty. She was sizzling even without the effect of 3D.

Now, after 57 years of long time, Playboy magazine is going to implement some idea of 3D centerfolds given by Hugh Hefner this month.
