MELBOURNE - Late ‘Diff’rent Strokes’ star Gary Coleman has been revealed to have specifically stated in legal documents not to be taken off life support.

According to TMZ, Coleman had signed the documents in 2006.

“I want my life to be prolonged as long as possible within the limits of generally accepted health care standards,” the Daily Telegraph quoted him as having written.

Coleman was removed from life support after his ex-wife Shannon Price authorized doctors to do so and died at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center on May 28.

He had hit his head at home and suffered a brain haemorrhage. He was 42.

The documents, which were discovered on June 15, are part of a custody battle for Coleman’s remains and estate between Price and Anna Gray, who was named executor of the actor’s estate according to a 2005 will.

Price claims in court documents that she was “forced” to pull the plug on the life support that ultimately led to Coleman’s death. She does not explain why she felt forced.

According to E! News, Gray, a long-time friend and business associate of the late actor, is seeking an injunction against Price. (ANI)
