Gary Coleman Hospitalized After Fall

SALT LAKE CITY (GaeaTimes.com)- Former child star ‘Gary Coleman’ has been hospitalized in Utah after he reportedly received head injuries due to a fall. The comedian who was hospitalized recently in January and February for having seizures has been admitted to the ICU for a ’serious medical condition’ according to sources close to his family. Gary Coleman also suffers from a congenital kidney disease for which he undergoes dialysis frequently. His agent Richard Malcolm was unavailable for comment. His Utah attorney Randy Kester told the media that his family wants to keep the news to themselves for a while and will announce the further details when the time is right for them. His wife Shannon price and her father stated that Gary Coleman is in a serious condition and in need of everyone’s prayers. they added that they are hopeful that he will soon be healthy enough to return home.

The ‘Diff’rent Strokes’ star shot to prominence after the TV series which was aired between 1978 to 1986. He became a household name because of the popularity of the show and his role as Arnold Jackson. He moved to Santaquin, 55 miles from Salt Lake City in 2005 for filming of the comedy ‘Church Ball’. He met Shannon Price on the sets of the film and soon married her. Gary Coleman, like all child stars, has had his share of financial and legal problems. He sued his own parents for mismanagement of his funds in 1989.

During his last visit to the hospital in February Gary Coleman told reporters that he wasn’t much bothered about his health at the moment because he feels great. He felt he was just 40 and too young to be seriously concerned.
