Crystal Bowersox Already A Winner

Kat Fitzgerald, one of her fans and close pals with whom she did music before the Idol, was ecstatic after the win. He said to the media, during the triple celebration of -his 50th birthday, female musicians in Ohio and Crystal Bowersox’s ‘win’, that he was her pal and tarot card reader and biggest fan since he met her 4 years ago. Interviewed after the results Crystal Bowersox seemed happy and contented with the outcome. She added that she really wanted to win and that she wouldn’t have auditioned for it if she thought there wasn’t a chance for her to win. Her original piece “Holy Toledo” was also received well by critics and the natives of Toledo, Ohio kept it as the background music during her homecoming event. She became the first ‘idol’ who got to perform her original composition on the show.
On the finale Crystal Bowersox performed “You Oughta Know”- the Alanis Morisette hit with the Canadian icon herself. Her final performance of the the song ‘Up To The Mountain’ got rave reviews from Simon Cowell who called it ‘outstanding’.
